About Me

I am a journalist, storyteller and nonfiction writer who lives in Dallas, Texas, USA (but formerly of Oakland, California).

I have written for six newspapers, including the Cleveland Plain Dealer (OH) and the Arlington Morning News (in Arlington, Texas). My work has also appeared in The San Angelo Standard-Times (TX) and The Ann Arbor News (MI).

Aside from print, I produce video and audio stories. Please check back in the next few months for some of these compelling stories!

A subject that I enjoy writing about is: the lives of everyday people. In addition, I have an affinity for stories related to healthcare. (See my story about a small Texas town facing the pandemic under “NEW STORIES.” Just keep scrolling ‘til you see it.)

In my spare time I run marathons. You may catch me doing yoga or creating artwork.
